Meet David — The Plumber Behind Timberline Plumbing
From Apprentice to Owner
I'm David Rumpel, owner of Timberline Plumbing. If you call or fill out a form on this site, I'm the one who actually sees it — not a dispatcher, not a call center.
I started in this trade from the bottom, as an apprentice on a 256-unit, 55-and-over apartment complex in Smokey Point, Arlington. I learned by paying attention — listening to the plumbers around me who'd been doing this far longer than I had, and applying what I picked up every day on the job. That's still how I run things now: pay attention, do it right, and don't cut a corner just because no one would notice right away.
Timberline Plumbing is the new name for what was Seattle's Plumbing LLC — same license, same standards, and a brand built around how I actually want to run this business: quality over quantity, not volume over care.

Where you'll find us:

If your address falls anywhere on that map, you're not a stretch for us — you're exactly who we built this for.
Licensed, Certified, and Held to a Higher Standard
Commercial Plumbing License
Qualifies me to work on large-scale commercial projects, restaurants, and public works, not just residential homes — even though residential is where Timberline Plumbing focuses.
Certified Navien Tankless Technician
A manufacturer-specific certification for tankless water heater installation and repair. (Worth cross-referencing on the Water Heater Installation page too — it's a concrete credential that page currently doesn't name.)
Ongoing Code Education
Regular continuing-education and code-update courses alongside local and state inspectors, so the work reflects current Washington plumbing code — not just "up to code when it was installed."
