Meet David — The Plumber Behind Timberline Plumbing

From Apprentice to Owner

My name is David Rumpel, Owner of Timberline Plumbing. I enjoy working with my hands, solving problems, and being able to look back at a finished job and feel proud of it. Plumbing has given me plenty of opportunities to do all three.


I started as an apprentice on a 256-unit, 55-and-over apartment complex in Smokey Point, Arlington. I had a lot to learn, and I was fortunate to work alongside experienced plumbers who shared their knowledge. Watching how they worked and putting their advice into practice taught me habits I still rely on today. There’s always more to learn in this trade, and that’s part of what keeps it interesting.


Before Timberline, we were Seattle’s Plumbing LLC. I’m excited about the New Brand and what we’re building. The goal is to run a company that does good work, treats people well, and gives each job the attention it deserves. That means taking the time to answer client questions, respecting their home, and doing work we’re proud to put our name on.

Regular continuing-education and code-update courses alongside local and state inspectors, so the work reflects current Washington plumbing code — not just "up to code when it was installed."
